Gazprom says raises 2022 investment program to 1.98 trl rbl
MOSCOW, Sep 22 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom has increased its investment program by 222.061 billion rubles to 1.98 trillion rubles for 2022, the company said in a statement on Thursday in its Telegram channel after the new program was approved by the management.
The company attributed the increase to higher investment in development of gas production on the Yamal peninsula and in RussiaТs east, as well as expansion of capacities of the Sila Sibiri gas pipeline.
GazpromТs management also approved a new version of the budget for 2022. Capital expenditures were raised by 319.12 billion rubles to 1.746 trillion rubles and financial borrowing was raised by 113.2 billion rubles to 386 billion rubles.
The new draft budget for 2022 reflects a 34% increase in revenue from gas sales compared with the previous version, while the decline in exports was completely balanced by the increase in the average price of supplies to non-CIS countries, the company said citing Deputy CEO Famil Sadygov.
Gazprom plans to allocate significant funds to pay dividends for JanuaryЦJune, he also said, adding that the free cash flow will cover them even taking into account growth of capital expenditures.
He added that the total amount of dividend payments is expected at 1.208 trillion rubles or 51.03 rubles per share.
Gazprom plans to increase borrowings шn JulyЦDecember and expects its total debt in 2022 to be at the same level as in 2021, Sadygov said.
