ExxonMobil says not to cooperate with Russia’s Rosneft in Cuba

IRVING, Texas, May 29 (PRIME) -- U.S. ExxonMobil has no plans to participate in Cuban deposits development by Russian oil major Rosneft because of the U.S. sanctions against Cuba, Executive Director Rex Tillerson aid Thursday at an annual shareholder meeting.

In late 2013, Rosneft agreed with the Cuban government to explore new deposits in the country.

On Wednesday, Tillerson told Reuters in an interview that the Russian operations of ExxonMobil remained unaffected by the cooling U.S.-Russia relations.
