Russia to allot 60 bln rbl on regional education upgrade in 2012
MOSCOW, Jan 9 (PRIME) -- The Russian government has approved providing 60 billion rubles to modernize general education in the country’s regions 2012, according to the government’s ruling released on January 6, as cited by RIA Novosti.
The largest amount of funds – 2.96 billion rubles and 2.64 billion rubles, respectively – are to be provided to the constituent republic of Dagestan and the Krasnodar Region, while the Chukotka Autonomous District is to receive the smallest amount of subsidies at 26.6 million rubles.
