Russia says to raise oil export duty to $14.4/tonne on May 1

Нефть качалка 01MOSCOW, Apr 17 (PRIME) – Russia will increase the oil export duty by $0.1 to $14.4 per tonne from May 1, the Finance Ministry said in a statement on its Telegram channel on Monday.

The export duty on light oil products will amount to $4.2 per tonne and on heavy oil products to $14.4 per tonne, rising from $14.3 per tonne.

The naphtha export duty will amount to $7.9 per tonne, and the gasoline export duty to $4.3 per tonne.

The duty on liquefied petroleum gases will remain at zero, on clear fractions of liquefied petroleum gases also zero, and on coke stay at $0.9 per tonne.

The average price of Russia’s Urals export oil blend rose by 0.7% on the month to U.S. $51.15 per barrel in the period from Match 15 until April 14.
