Russian police accuse insider of disclosing confidential info

MOSCOW, Jun 26 (PRIME) -- Russian police have accused a sales director of a domestic mineral fertilizers producer of disclosing confidential commercial information that caused the company to incur U.S. $2 million of losses, the Moscow directorate of the Interior Ministry said Wednesday in a statement, as cited by RIA Novosti.

The police revealed that the accused illegally disclosed the company’s information on fertilizer sales in 2010–2011 to foreign clients.

A source in Moscow’s law-enforcement bodies told RIA Novosti that the accused worked for fertilizer producer PhosAgro.

“The surname of the accused is Topchyan, he worked in PhosAgro AG (the holding’s management company),” the source said.
