EuroParlament02BRUSSELS, Jun 9 (PRIME) -- The E.U. will prolong the sanctions against Russian actions in Crimea for another year within the next several days, Ambassador of Luxembourg to the E.U. Christian Braun told reporters Tuesday.

“I do not know when exactly (the sanctions will be prolonged), but in general, the decision is made. Maybe it will take place at the next meeting of the E.U. Foreign Affairs Council (on June 22). The prolongation will be for one year, it will take place within the next few days,” Braun said.

The restrictive measures adopted earlier against investments in Crimea will end on June 23.
