CFO: Russia’s Sberbank may sell stakes in Visa, Mastercard
MOSCOW, Dec 13 (PRIME) -- Russia’s biggest lender Sberbank can sell its stakes in international payment systems Visa and Mastercard, but it is early to speak about it yet, Deputy CEO and CFO Alexander Morozov told reporters Tuesday.
“It is too early to speak about it today. As any asset that we own, we have a possibility to sell it on the market,” he said.
“A decision has not been made as of today. Once it is made, we will announce it,” he said.
Sberbank does not disclose its stakes in Visa and Mastercard, Morozov said.
