Report: Minister expects bill on personal data given to Duma soon

MOSCOW, Sep 11 (PRIME) -- A bill introducing amendments to the law on personal data will be submitted to the State Duma, the Russian parliamentТs lower house, during the autumn session, Digital Development Minister Konstantin Noskov told on Wednesday in a broadcast of the Rossiya 24 television channel.

УI think the State Duma will receive during the coming session a bill on protection of personal data, where, on the one hand, security of personal data will be strengthened, but, on the other hand, business will get an option to work with anonymized data, big data, which is a huge resource, including to improve effectiveness of manufacture, labor production,Ф Noskov said.

The ministryТs press secretary Yevgeny Novikov said the amendments will allow businessmen to use data more actively.
