Report: Russia hopes to raise share of world energy market to 25%
ROME, Oct 11 (PRIME) -- Russia plans to raise its share of the international power market to 25%, Energy Minister Alexander Novak said in an interview to Italian daily La Stampa released on Thursday.
УRussia is a global energy superpower, it is a top exporter of gas and oil, and it holds 20% of this energy market. We plan to maintain our leadership, and we are working on the technological process in production and in (development of pipeline) infrastructure in Eastern and Western directions to achieve a market share of 25%,Ф he said.
