Statistics: Russia’s inflation slows down to 1.56% in April

MOSCOW, May 13 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation decelerated to 1.56% on the month in April from 7.61% in March, and accelerated to 17.83% from 16.69% annually in annual terms, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Friday.

Russia’s food price inflation slowed down to 2.87% in monthly terms and sped up to 20.48% in annual terms in March. Non-food inflation amounted to 0.53% on the month.
