Watchdog may cut access to sites with info on bypassing blockings

MOSCOW, Sep 19 (PRIME) -- The Russian communications service may restrict access to the websites with information to bypass blocking and has elaborated relevant criteria to mute such resources, according to a draft order released on Tuesday.

The criteria of assessment of information about ways to provide access to the information resources that are blocked in the country include a description of actions to get access.

The document stipulates seven criteria to add online materials to the register of forbidden information.

The order is to come in force on March 1, 2024 and is valid till September 1, 2029.
