Russia sets wheat export duty at 2,856.3 rbl/tn for June 7–13
MOSCOW, Jun 2 (PRIME) -- Russia’s wheat export duty will decrease to 2,856.4 rubles per tonne from 4,525.4 rubles, the barley duty will be cancelled, and the corn duty will fall to 1,214.4 rubles from 2,753.6 rubles from June 7 through June 13, as seen by PRIME in Agriculture Ministry’s materials on Friday.
The duty is calculated basing on the indicative prices of U.S. $262.4 per tonne of wheat, $190.1 per tonne of barley, and $219.2 per tonne of corn.
Since June 2021, Russia has been using a flexible system of grain duty calculation. In July 2022, the duty’s calculation was shifted to rubles.
