Aeroflot IFRS net profit falls 75% to 5.7 bln rbl in 2018

MOSCOW, Mar 4 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s national air carrier Aeroflot fell 75% to 5.713 billion rubles in 2018, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Monday.

Revenue grew 14.8% to 611.57 billion rubles. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) fell 40% to 33.598 billion rubles. The EBITDA margin decreased by 5 percentage points to 5.5%.

Jet fuel spending rose 48.2% to 182 billion rubles “due to the oil price dynamics and growth of traffic and the flying time.”
