Agency: Russia’s new car sales triple to 75,622 in April

MOSCOW, May 4 (PRIME) -- Russia’s new car sales almost tripled on the year to 75,622 in April, research agency Autostat said on Thursday.

Lada retained its biggest share growing to over 33% in the reporting period as compared with 23% a year ago. Sales stood at 25,288.

China’s Chery, Geely, Haval, and South Korea’s Kia were the other top five sellers of new cars.
