Autostat: Russia’s sales of new cars more than double in May

MOSCOW, Jun 5 (PRIME) – Russia’s sales of new cars more than doubled on the year to 72,171 vehicles in May, research agency Autostat said in a statement on Monday.

Sales of new Lada cars amounted to 22,029 in the month, with Chinese car brands Chery and Haval occupying the second and third place with the sales of 7,444 vehicles and 7,432 cars, respectively.
