Central bank says annual inflation to continue falling in April

MOSCOW, Apr 12 (PRIME) – Russia’s annual inflation will continue to decrease in April, Central Bank Chairwoman Elvira Nabiullina said on Wednesday.

"The annual inflation figure decreased below 4% in March, and will fall further in April, perhaps. However, these low annual levels mainly reflect very low rates of monthly price growth last summer and autumn," Nabiullina said.

The official qualified the current price growth as moderate, yet higher than in June–November 2022.
