China: Anti-Russian sanctions not to bring peace to Ukraine

UN, May 12 (PRIME) -- Sanctions against Russia will not bring peace to Ukraine, but only cause an energy, food, and financial crisis in the world, Dai Bing, ChinaТs deputy permanent representative to the U.N., said on Thursday at a meeting of the U.N. Security Council.

УThe sanctions will not bring peace, they will only exacerbate the price growth and trigger a food, energy, and financial crises over the world. Children of the whole world will suffer from the consequences of the sanctions,Ф he said.

China again called on all sides of the conflict to be rational and restrained and to overcome prejudices in order to solve the crisis in Ukraine as soon as possible, he said.
