Deripaska declines to become member of Norilsk Nickel board

MOSCOW, Apr 12 (PRIME) -- Russian tycoon Oleg Deripaska, President and core beneficiary of troubled aluminum giant UC RUSAL, has declined to be nominated to the board of directors of another metals giant Norilsk Nickel, a spokesperson for the company told reporters on Thursday.

“Oleg Deripaska has declined to be nominated to the board of directors of Norilsk Nickel, we have received an official rejection,” the person said.
