EU plans to agree on 10th package of sanctions against Russia Wed

BRUSSELS, Feb 20 (PRIME) -- The permanent representatives of the E.U. plan to finalize a tenth package of sanctions against Russia and another package of sanctions against Belarus at a meeting on Wednesday, as seen by PRIME in the materials of the E.U. on Monday.

The coordination of new economic and personal restrictions is listed among the issues requiring preliminary discussion.

In case of unanimous approval of the new measures by the permanent representatives of all E.U. countries, the package will be considered approved. Then the final technical procedure will be initiated, after which the new sanctions will be published in the official journal of the E.U. and will come into force.
