Economic ministry: Russia's GDP fall slows down to 3.1% in Feb

MOSCOW, Mar 30 (PRIME) -- Russia's gross domestic product (GDP) decrease slowed down to 3.1% on the year in February from 3.2% in January, the Economic Development Ministry said in a report late on Wednesday.

In January–February, the economy sagged by 3.2%.

The ministry said that the economy was supported by the growth of construction volumes, industrial output and cargo transportation, excluding via pipelines.
