MOSCOW, Oct 3 (PRIME) -- Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft will reduce transit via the Druzhba pipeline across Belarus by 6.4 million tonnes compared with a plan to 41.6 million tonnes in 2019, Vice President of the company Sergei Andronov said on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week on Thursday.
УA bit less,Ф Andronov said. УBy 6.4 million tonnes. We used to plan 48.Ф
The problem with the quality of oil coming from Russia to Europe across Belarus via the Druzhba pipeline appeared in April. In Belarus, the pipeline splits into two stings, of which one goes to Poland and Germany, and the other to Ukraine, Slovakia and Hungary.
Andronov said the company wanted to assure the market that it would do its best to prevent such incidents in the future, УConcerning stability, to which the market got used for the Urals blend, we not only hope but want to assure the market as well that this was a sad exception from the ruleЕ in the future, we will prevent such incidents with the measures that we are carrying out, that we will carry out.Ф
