Finance Ministry says plans no new Eurobond issue in March
MOSCOW, Mar 20 (PRIME) -- RussiaТs Finance Ministry does not plan to offer new Eurobonds in March, but may offer them later this year, Deputy Finance Minister Vladimir Kolychev told reporters on Tuesday.
УWe potentially may place 3 more billion (rubles of Eurobonds) this year,Ф he said and added that terms of new issues have not been discussed yet.
On Monday, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that Russia may offer more Eurobonds in 2018, including issues in foreign currencies other than the U.S. dollars.
On March 16, the ministry placed U.S. $1.5 billion of new U.S. dollar-denominated 2029 Eurobonds at 4.625% and $2.5 billion of additional 2047 Eurobonds at 5.25%.
