Gazprom, Belarus sign accord on gas pricing in 2020
MOSCOW, Feb 14 (PRIME) -- Gas giant Gazprom’s CEO Alexei Miller and Belarusian ambassador to Russia Vladimir Semashko have signed an accord on 2020 natural gas pricing for Belarus, Gazprom said in a statement on Friday.
“Alexei Miller and Vladimir Semashko signed an accord between Gazprom and the government of the republic, which outlines the order of price formation in supplies of natural as to Belarus in 2020,” the company said.
In December 2019, Gazprom and Belarusian gas transportation system operator Gazprom Transgaz Belarus prolonged contracts for transportation and sales of Russian gas in the country until 2021, but the price was defined only for January and February 2020, and it remained flat on the year at $127 per 1,000 cubic meters.
