Gazprom in talks with China on LPG, helium sales from Amur plant

MOSCOW, Dec 22 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom is in negotiations with China on supplies of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and helium from the Amur Gas Processing Plant, head of the company’s representation office in China Viktor Kovtun told a corporate magazine in an interview released on Wednesday.

"Gazprom’s cooperation with the Chinese partners is not limited to gas shipments and cooperation in underground storage. For instance, we are in negotiations on supplies of LPG and helium from the Amur Gas Processing Plant," Kovtun said.

He also said that during the negotiations between Gazprom and China's CNPC and CNOOC, the companies discuss electric power generation on gas, development of gas sales infrastructure for the use of gas as engine fuel on the Europe–China route and joint fulfillment of gas liquefaction projects.
