Gazprom plans to raise gas output 2.7% to 430 bcm in 2017

MOSCOW, Apr 26 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom plans to boost gas output 2.7% on the year to 430.44 billion cubic meters in 2017 under an approved production plan, Deputy CEO Vsevolod Markelov told the company’s corporate magazine in an interview released Wednesday.

The plan envisages a 4.6% rise in oil output to 41.1 million tonnes and a 3.1% fall in condensate output to 15.3 million tonnes in 2017, Markelov said.

Gazprom plans to raise gas output at the Bovanenkovskoye field by 13.8% to 76.7 billion cubic meters and to decrease condensate output to 49,900 tonnes in 2017 from 53,000 tonnes in 2016, he said.

Gazprom also plans to boost gas output at the Kirinskoye field by 9.5% to 744 million cubic meters and to raise condensate output to 119,300 tonnes in 2017 from 117,000 tonnes in 2016.

The company expects gas reserves to grow by 469.9 billion cubic meters and oil and condensate reserves to rise by 39.9 million tonnes in 2017, Markelov said. “The highest increase by volume is expected at the Kirinskoye fields and the Antipayutinskoye field,” he said.

In 2016, the company’s reserves rose by 457.3 billion cubic meters of gas and by 39.1 million tonnes of oil and condensate, he said. The Yuzhno-Kirinskoye, Kovykta and Chayanda fields saw the largest increase of gas reserves.
