Gazprom says gas output rises 13.7% to 180 bcm in January–April
MOSCOW, May 4 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom increased its natural gas output by 13.7% on the year to 179.9 billion cubic meters from January through April, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
Local gas supplies increased by 18%, or by 17.9 billion cubic meters, in the period.
Gas exports to the non-CIS states grew by 28.3% to 68.4 billion cubic meters in the period. Exports to Germany rose by 36.8%, to Turkey by 143.7%, to Poland by 20.6%, to Serbia by 97.9%, to Romania by 139.8%, to Greece by 34.8%, to Italy by 11% and to France by 16.9%.
