MOSCOW, Jun 25 (PRIME) -- The shareholders of Russian gas giant Gazprom have approved a decision to pay 12.55 rubles per share, or a total of 297.103 billion rubles, in final dividends for 2020, the company said in a statement on Friday.
The record date for the dividends is July 15, and the payment accounts for 50% of the adjusted net profit for the year calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Previously, the company paid 15.24 rubles per share, or a total of 360.784 billion rubles, in dividends for 2019, which accounted for 30% of the net profit calculated under IFRS.
The Federal State Property Management Agency owns 38.37% in Gazprom, while state oil and gas holding Rosneftegaz has 10.97% and state company Rosgazifikatsiya has 0.89%. Owners of American depositary receipts account own a combined 16.71% stake in the company, and other shareholders owns 33.06%.
