Gazprom ships debut 1 bcm of gas via TurkStream pipeline
MOSCOW, Jan 27 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom has shipped a debut billion cubic meters of gas via the TurkStream pipeline, including 54% sent to Turkey and the remaining volume delivered to the TurkishЦBulgarian border, the company said in a statement on Monday.

The TurkStream pipeline consists of two branches with a length of over 900 kilometers and a total projected capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters of gas. Commercial shipments via the facility began on January 1. Bulgartransgaz plans to build an extension of TurkStream to Europe by the end of 2020.
