Kremlin sees poor prospects for grain deal prolongation
MOSCOW, Apr 12 (PRIME) -- The prospects for a grain deal rollover are far from being good, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.
"The second part of the deal (access of Russian products to the global market) is still not working, these conditions are not fulfilled,” Peskov told reporters.
“No deal can stand on one foot, it must stand on two feet. In this context, it is clear that from today's perspective, the prospects are not really good."
The official said that the U.N. is putting efforts into a full-scale fulfillment of the deal, but some of them are in vain.
