Lukashenko: Moscow, Minsk have no oil agreement because of price
MINSK, Jan 9 (PRIME) -- The oil negotiations of Russia and Belarus broke through because Moscow demanded a price above the market, Belarusian news agency BelTA reported on Thursday quoting President Alexander Lukashenko.
УWhy havenТt we yet reached an agreement on oil with the president of Russia? Because Russia wants us to buy their oil at a price higher than the international one. Have you ever heard of anything like this?Ф Lukashenko said as quoted by BelTA.
On January 4, Deputy CEO of the stateТs energy holding Belneftekhim Vladimir Sizov said that Belarus plans to resume exports of oil products until the end of January and hopes to receive 650,000 tonnes of oil from Russia this month.
