Lukoil may pay 85 rbl/share in dividends for January–September
MOSCOW, Oct 25 (PRIME) -- The board of directors of Russian oil major Lukoil recommended paying 85 rubles per share in dividends for January–September, up from 75 rubles per share the company paid in dividends for the same period of 2016, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
The record date for the dividends is December 22.
Previously, the company paid 120 rubles per share, or a total of 102.067 billion rubles, in final dividends for 2016, which accounted for 50% of the net profit for the year calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Taking into account all interim dividends, Lukoil paid a total of 195 rubles per share in dividends for 2016.
Core owner of Lukoil is its CEO Vagit Alekperov. In June, he said he holds 24.8% in the company.
