Official: Cbank fines Moscow Exchange for insider data law breach
MOSCOW, Apr 5 (PRIME) -- The Russian central bank has imposed a 300,000 ruble penalty on the Moscow Exchange for each case of violation of the insider information law, spokesman for the Prosecutor General Office Alexander Kurennoi said in a Telegram channel on Thursday.
УDuring an investigation by the central bank, cases of non-submission of notifications on deals on the futures market by insiders, who are employees of the exchange, were detected,Ф Kurennoi said.
УIn some cases these notifications were provided with a time violation of more than 1.5 years. Cases of use of programs forbidden by local acts on prevention of conflict of interests by exchange employees in order to organize access to trade were detected.Ф
He also said that members of the revision commission were not included in the list of exchange insiders and there was no department to control fulfillment of the law.
