PM: Russia to extend regions' opportunity to use budget funds

MOSCOW, Apr 21 (PRIME) -- The government will allow the regions to use the funds released during budget loan restructuring more freely than before, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Friday.

"The government continues to support the regions of the Russian Federation by creating conditions for effective achievement of the goals and development. With this aim, we have decided to extend the possibility of the regions to use the funds released during budget loan restructuring," Mishustin said.

He said that the regions will be allowed to allocate the funds to the support of companies continuing operations despite sanctions, on construction and upgrade of infrastructure.
