PRESS: Microsoft ends guarantee maintenance for Xboxes in Russia

MOSCOW, Apr 10 (PRIME) -- Microsoft has discontinued guarantees for console Xbox in Russia, daily Izvestiya reported on Monday.

“The guarantee maintenance of the consoles, including those imported to the Russian Federation officially, is no longer available due to the current situation. We recommend the console owners turn to the store where they bought the devices,” a technical service representative told the daily.

The problem was confirmed both by users and retailers.

A representative of the Federal Service for Oversight of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare told the daily that the console owners should contact the stores where they purchased their gadgets in case of breakage. The sellers said they are ready to repair the devices.
