PRESS: Ukraine to raise Russian oil transit tariff
MOSCOW, Apr 28 (PRIME) -- Ukrainian pipeline operator Ukrtransnafta plans to raise the tariff for Russian oil transit through the Druzhba pipeline by 25% to 17 euros per tonne from June 1 and by 23.5% more to 21 euros per tonne from August 1, business daily Kommersant reported on Friday citing researcher Argus and sources with knowledge of the matter.
Aide to the president of Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft Igor Dyomin told PRIME that the company had received a notification from the Ukrainian operator on the two-stage tariff growth.
The sources told Kommersant that Ukraine was in negotiations with Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic on direct payment for oil transportation to their territories.
