Polyus buys gold field in Yakutia with 12.76 mln rbl bid

YAKUTSK, Dec 19 (PRIME) -- Polyus Aldan, a unit of Russian gold producer Polyus, has won a 15-year license to develop the Somnitelnoye gold field in the republic of Yakutia with a 12.76 million ruble bid, according to the results of the auction seen by PRIME on Thursday.

The deposit is located 25 kilometers off the city of Aldan and has C1 reserves of 1.254 tonnes.
