Report: AzerbaijanТs SOCAR to export Russian oil products soon
BAKU, Jan 29 (PRIME) -- The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will soon start exports of Russian oil products from the Black Sea port of Tuapse, Trend news agency reported on January 27 citing a source at the company.
SOCAR has signed a deal with Russian oil major Rosneft and trading company Cetracore Energy, where Rosneft is a shareholder, the source said.
УUnder the terms of the deal, SOCAR will act as an offtaker of oil products from the port of Tuapse. Already by the end of this month SOCAR will ship the first batch of vacuum gas oil in the amount of around 100,000 tonnes. The bulk of this batch will be sent to Greece,Ф the source said.
This week, SOCAR also plans to make a shipment of 60,000 tonnes of naphtha bought directly from Rosneft, the source also said.
The details of the deal were not specified.
