Report: CEO: Microsoft to scale down business in Russia to zero
WASHINGTON, Jun 24 (PRIME) -- U.S. company Microsoft intends to scale down its business in Russia until nothing is left, The Washington Post reported citing the company’s President Brad Smith in an online interview seen by PRIME on Friday.
The company is setting its business in Russia narrower and narrower until eventually nothing is there, Smith said.
Microsoft plans to support its Russian employees, he added.
The company said in early March it is retreating from the country’s market and suspended sales of goods and provision of services.
