Russia raises urea export quota by 280,000 tns Feb 1-May 31

MOSCOW, Jan 26 (PRIME) -- The Industry and Trade Ministry has raised the urea export quota from February 1 through May 31 by 280,000 tonnes, the ministry said in a ruling published late on Tuesday on the website for disclosure of legal information.

The government earlier introduced a 5.9 million tonne quota on exports of nitrogen fertilizers and a 5.35 million tonne fertilizers containing two or three nutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, from December 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022.

The ministry distributes licenses for exports under a non-tariff quota.
