RussiaТs Unison may de-preserve GMТs plant in St Peterburg
ST. PETERSBURG, Feb 7 (PRIME) -- Russian company Unison is the main contender for de-preservation of a plant of carmaker General Motors (GM) in St. Petersburg, whose operations were suspended in 2015 after the U.S. company decided to minimize its presence in the country, a source familiar with the negotiations told PRIME on Thursday.
УWe hope that we will de-preserve (the plant) until the end of the first half of the year. Unison is the closest (to buying the plant) than all other contenders,Ф the person said.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service approved UnisonТs bid to buy the plant in January.
