Source: Russian airlines can start flights to Georgia next week

MOSCOW, May 11 (PRIME) -- Russian airlines can start flights to Georgia next week, a source in the aviation industry told PRIME on Thursday.

“The start of flights from Russia to Georgia is expected to happen next week,” the source said.

President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday cancelled the visa regime with Georgia and lifted a ban for Russian air carriers to fly to the country directly.
