Unipro says swings to 9 bln rbl RAS net profit in Jan–Mar

MOSCOW, Apr 27 (PRIME) -- Russian power utility Unipro posted a 9.001 billion ruble net profit in January–March, as compared with a net loss of 18.7 billion rubles in the same period of 2022, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Revenue grew by 6.3% to 32.547 billion rubles, the cost of sales rose by 1.5% to 21.424 billion rubles. The pre-tax profit amounted 11.209 billion rubles as compared with a pre-tax loss of 23.417 billion rubles in January–March 2022.

The gross profit rose by 16.7% to 11.123 billion rubles, profit from sales grew by 16.7% as well to 11.123 billion rubles.
