Yandex says teaches smart speaker Alice foreign languages

MOSCOW, May 4 (PRIME) -- Russian Internet company Yandex teaches smart speaker Alice foreign languages, a company representative told PRIME on Thursday.

“We will disclose details later,” the representative said.

News and research agency TelecomDaily General Director Denis Kuskov said the decision is logical.

“I think it is first of all English because it is an international language, and whatever the country there is a probability it will be most popular,” he said.

“I also think these could be languages of the former USSR republics and the Turkish language because the company intends to work there.”

The expert said the teaching process will take a year or more.
