Govt approves list of technologies for special investment contracts

MOSCOW, Dec 4 (PRIME) -- The Russian government has approved a list of modern technologies for special investment contracts companies will sign with the state, the government said in a statement on Friday.

“Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has approved a list of modern technologies, on the basis of which special investment contracts will be signed. The decision will ensure the launch of a new mechanism of the producing economy development,” the statement read.

The list comprises more than 600 promising technologies from different industries like the car industry, the power sector, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, and telecommunications. The technologies include production of supercomputers, composite materials, 3D-printig devices, and other innovations.

Companies that plan investment projects in these spheres will be able to sign a special investment contract, under which the company will invest in the launches of mass production of competitive products, while the state will guarantee consistency of operating conditions, tax preferences, and preferences in state procurements and rent of land plots, the government said.
