Yandex says creates service of speech synthesis by single phrase

MOSCOW, Mar 7 (PRIME) -- Yandex Cloud, a cloud platform of Internet company Yandex, has launched a service of speech synthesis by a single phrase, Russia’s first for commercial use, Yandex Cloud said on Tuesday in a statement.

“Cloud platform Yandex Cloud has unveiled a new service of speech synthesis Brand Voice Call Center. Equipped with the technology, companies will be able to create unique voices for virtual operators of a call center almost online …The algorithm processes one audio sample and synthesizes hundreds of the similar phrases on its basis and can change some words according to the script,” the company said.
