Russian stocks may decline on negative foreign background
MOSCOW, Jan 11 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks may decrease at the opening on Monday amid negative dynamics on global floors and falling oil prices, analysts said.
УWe expect the MOEX Russia Index to open with a decline of 0.2Ц0.5%, in the range of 3,440Ц3,450 points. The nearest support levels will be 3,430 and 3,420 points. The main resistance will be 3,460 and 3,470 points,Ф Vitaly Manzhos, senior risk manager at investment company Algo Capital, said.
Before the start of trading in Russia, the U.S. stock index futures are falling within 0.4Ц0.6%, Brent oil futures decreased by 1.0%, ChinaТs Shanghai Composite fell 0.1%, while the Japanese stock market is closed, the analyst said.
Alor Broker analyst Alexei Antonov said, УTodayТs trading will start with a reduction due to the negative foreign background. The U.S. futures are losing around 0.5% before our opening, oil is falling by twice more (1%).Ф
