NOVOSIBIRSK, Apr 3 (PRIME) -- A Kemerovo Region court has partially suspended for 90 days operations of the Kiya-Shaltyrsky open-pit mine owned by RUSAL Achinsk, part of Russian aluminum giant UC RUSAL, due to violations of safety requirements, the Siberian administration of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological, and Nuclear Oversight said on Wednesday.

The facility was checked routinely in February to reveal 171 violations of the current industrial safety requirements. RUSAL Achinsk was fined 500,000 rubles and its 15 executives were additionally fined 295,000 rubles.
