Russia says can retaliate against EU steel import quotas
MOSCOW, Apr 2 (PRIME) -- Russia notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of the possibility of retaliation against E.U. tariff quotas on steel imports, according to the WTO documents seen by PRIME on Tuesday.
The European Commission introduced up to three-year restrictions on imports of 26 categories of steel products on February 2, after the U.S. set up steel import duties. The measures consist of quotas, and imports exceeding them are subject to 25% duties.
