UPDATE: Smoke contamination of mine kills 1 worker, injures 43

NOVOSIBIRSK, Nov 25 (PRIME) -- One person was killed and 43 were injured in smoke contamination of the Listvyazhnaya mine, part of the SDS-Ugol company, in the Kemerovo Region, according to a statement on the Telegram channel of the regional administration.
"One person died," the report said. "As of noon (8 a.m., Moscow time) 43 injured were sent to the Kemerovo clinical healthcare center. Two of them are in a critical condition, 41 lightly or moderately injured."
Contamination took place on the ventilation entry, 236 miners were evacuated. According to preliminary reports, there were a total of 285 people in the mine.
