VSMPO-Avisma to invest 2.6 bln rbl in mechanical processing equip
MOSCOW, Nov 16 (PRIME) -- Russian titanium producer VSMPO-Avisma plans to invest 2.6 billion rubles to develop mechanical processing capacities, the company said in a statement on Monday.
“The project encompasses construction of 13 mechanical processing units in the facility for mechanical processing of rings and discs. As of today, we have started construction of the first processing unit … that would be focused on processing of rings with diameters of up to four meters,” the statement read.
The machine will be launched in late January 2021. The company expects to finish the project in October–December 2021, and pay for the equipment in installments until 2022.
